Alot of people think just like you, that they have to go out there and shoot and if they don't get any points they look down on themselves. But that's not the way basketball is. Every team memeber has their own role that makes up the team. Your's might not be you being another Michael Jordan, it might be to play awesome defense and work the ball around ("the passer") to get it to your "better" shooters or the ones who have took on that role of shooting. You might also want to talk to your coach about how you feel. Maybe he would tell you he needs you to step up and be a shooter on the court. You never know what could happen...hope this helped!

(THE MAN) is a big loser don't listen to him well to get to your question. I had that same problem this year with shooting the basketball so what i would do is drive to the lane the first chance you get and try to get a layup if not you will get fouled and then i bet you will make you free-throws if you are a good free throw shooter. Anyways if you can shoot good the first chance you get shoot the ball and if not just pass it around till someone else scores anyways if you still don't score just practice in the off season.

It is alright if you didn't make any baskets as long as you got your team mates involved. Look don't be dissapointed, just keep on practicing and you'll get better. I Only averaged 3 points in the season but the whole point in basketball is to have fun and enjoy. So yea peace and god bless you all.

Of course it's alright. The main thing is having fun and learning how to be part of a team. If you want to improve for next year, just practice, practice, practice. Good luck and God bless. Peace

Not a problem. There is lots of jobs on a bball team, not just a shooter. I only scored two baskets but had the most assists on my team. It doesnt matter. Besides bball should be fun, no matter what.

that's o.k everyone can't be a basketball player. This is a lesson from my fantastic teacher visualize yourself making the perfect shot and you are more likely to make it that is what Micheal Jordan did because she said she got it from a Chicken Soup Story written by him!
