When I try to do a System Restore, I have the checkpoints and all so I click the one I want and started the Restore. It logged me out and started restoring but it would stop, restart, and upon loggin it would tell me that the "System Restoration Incomplete" and that it failed to Restore. I've tried a lot of check points including the one of 1/31/07 (Thats yesterday :p), They all wouldn't work and it gave me the same message. I did some research and found out to try it in safe mode. I tried this, the only difference is that it took longer to tell me it was Incomplete... Can anyone help?

If you run system restore, don't have any programs running. Just have your desktop there with nothing on the task bar for programs. You have to pick a date that is for sure before your problem. It will have available dates highlighted. One other thing that just occured to me is your computer might have a virus that's stopping restore in its tracks. Try scanning for viruses. Get rid of them Then try again with restore.

Do not use the checkpoints.. Restore the system to it's original configuration.

This surpassed off to me some circumstances through the years. In my case there have been no different issues. I basically tried yet another fix aspect which worked in some caes and in others did not. no longer something's perfect.
