a Canadian friend of mine had a similar problem...she was living in the UK when she met and married an English guy...they wound up going to Canada but instead of settling where she grew up, they made a huge roadtrip through the US and ended up in Calgary...the cost of living is not as high here but it just depends on where ya wanna raise your kids...the UK is a lot less violent so there are a lot of options for you to weigh...good luck hon!

I'd rather stay in the states if I were you cos you would miss your family and friends in the states and it's easier for guys to adapt to a new environment.
