I've only heard it once or twice. I can see where you get the idea that it sounds somewhat oriental from the unusual hooks played by the string section. Good ear! As for the song, I find it to be a little annoying and a little intriguing at the same time.

I love that song too. I didn't really think it had a chineese sound. But, is still in my top 50 songs, and has been for a while (it shifts a lot, so this is a good thing!)

No, interior the beginning up I take it as a mom calling her son because of the fact shes apprehensive approximately him. The music tells a tale in case you hear to it, yet each music tells a tale hehe :) i think of this ones in basic terms a tragic one.

Lol, i kno that song. its kinda wierd, yet somewhat arousing. it reminds me of big country by in a big country. i mite go and listen to that Ocean song. its on my friends' myspace.

That is their only good song, I don't like any of the others though. The lead singer looks funny with that makeup on his eyelids.
