First of all, two answers so far have simply found the word in a thesaurus and listed what they found. But this is a mistake. Thesaurus's start with RELATED words, some of which are synonyms, others of which are not quite.

So, for instance "alikeness" is a synonym of "synonymity" but NOT of the word "synonym". That is, you cannot replace "synonym" with "alikeness" in a sentence.

Likewise,"similar" or "same" so not work. These are synonyms for the adjective "synonymous"

For the noun "synonym", try:

equivalent, substitute

If you have any doubts, check the definitions of the words. Synonym refers to words that 'have the same or nearly the same meaning in a particular context'.

Some folks will claim that "synonym", ironically, HAS no synonyms. But that is based on a misunderstanding of what a synonym actually is. To be a synonym, a word does NOT have to have exactly the same meaning in all instances. It simply has to be able to convey the same meaning in SOME cases. If you say "I can't think of a synonym for 'obnoxious'." you could use "a substitute" or "an equivalent" in place of "a synonym" and it would convey the same sense. Thus, in this case, these words function as synonyms for "synonym".

A synonym is a word having the same or nearly the same meaning as another in the language.

Some synonyms of synonym are:
adequation, agreement, alikeness, compatibility, conformity, correlation, correspondence, equality, evenness, exchangeability, identity, interchangeability, interchangeableness, likeness, match, par, parallel, parity, similarity

I hope this helps.
