Absolutely......Think of the huge tax windfall if Weed were legal...We could buy it at the store, pay our tax, smoke a joint instead of taking a drink...and we all WIN!!!

Let me start by saying I have never tried it, nor do I have any desire too. I do however, think it should be legalized, and for many reasons. It does have medicinal value. If legal then the number of people in jail would decrease. It could be a great tax revenue source. Its easier, and costs less to regulate a legal item than it is an illegal one. And the way its grown, and treated could be dictated to make it a safer drug, as in the cases I know of where someone was poisoned when they smoked pot. I think the positive points of legalizing it outweigh the bad side of smoking marijuana.

Yes, but only in certain areas and counties. Like around cities. Only around people of the age of 18? - 21? or above. and it only can be consumed in the "marijuana bar". You would be given the brownies or marijuana roach as they called it in my time. and you would have to consume it on premises. That way it is legalized more controlled. And not as sexy. How do they not let you leave with it? Have evey one hooked up to a cigarette holder.
That will not let the cigarette (roach) go.

Yes it should be legalized. It does not harm the body as much as alcohol. You do not get violent with weed like you do while you are on other drugs or alcohol. Look at the money the government could make off of it. Not that they don't already make money off of it. I do not think you should go to jail if you only have 1/2 ounce or less!!!! It is NOT a gateway drug!!! Alcohol is more of a gateway drug than weed is!!!! Just my opinion!!!!

There HAS been research. The public just does not want to see it as it goes against what we've been told all of our lives. The government and those opposed to legalization sure as hell don;t want ya to. But it is there if you look. ALL OVER the internet are web sites about it. You just haev to be open and willing to hear something new.
And it's no more a "gateway drug" than cigarettes or alcohol.

yes it should. however the only conflict i could see as a result of the legalization is the governments involvement in the controlling of the plant. the current drug dealers will be ticked off if their entire market was handed over to the government's control.

No b/c it's been proven that marijuana is a gateway drug. Additionally, it's far more harmful to smoke marijuana than cigerettes. There is not too much public info. on marijuana's harmful effects b/c no one is really paying any money to get the message out like theyre doing with cigerettes b/c marijuana is not legal, as cigerettes are.

Yes, why not.
Alcohol and tobacco are legal and they are killing thousands of people. I've never heard of someone dying from smoking a little marijuana now and then.

Legalize all drugs and and control the price. Take the profit out and we can control it and get rid the illegal drug trade.
