Yes I wrote this for my ex when we were dating. He told me that it was corny and that I shouldn't show anyone else because I would just make a fool of myself. 18 years later I submitted my poem and got it published in a book called "Letters of the soul"
The man of my choice
When you say you love me ,
I feel so happy and I feel so free.
When I'm resting on your arm,
I feel so safe from all evils of harm.
When you whisper in my ear,
you erase my mind from all hurt and fear.
When I feel your warm gentle touch,
I know in my heart, I love you so much.
When you look at me with that smile,
I know that your love is well worth my while.
When I see that look in your eyes,
It feels as though I am in paradise.
When I hear the sound of your voice,
Nothing else matters, your the man of my choice.

yes, i have several times..how did the person react? well, the one i wrote the most for loved them, the other i wrote one for never made mention of it

i sing about love sometimes but i never write things down even know i should. my parents think that from the things i sing in the shower i am depressed but it is just my personality to sing about depressing things
