No. Sony has repeatedly stated that they have no intention of putting rumble into the PS3 controllers. They also announced that the PS3 will not support force-feedback in 3rd party steering wheels for racing games, either.

The reason the rumble feature is not on the PS3 is that Sony was sued by the company that holds the patent on the rumble technology - Immersion - and lost, and refused to then pay the license fees to Immersion. They would rather the players of PS3 go without rumble than just pay up. Of course, they make up some story about how it is not a necessary feature and it is somehow incompatible with the tilt mechanism in the controller (funny, my Wii controller can handle both), but that's all bs. Sony just lost the lawsuit and is too arrogant to pay.

I wouldn't count on rumble on the PS3 for quite some time, if ever.
