There are more resources for the SAT so I was thinking of using some of those to help me study.

The vocabulary on the GRE is more complicated.

Yes, basically, but the GRE words are on average harder. If you check out The Princeton Review's book Word Smart, they have a SAT "hit parade" and a GRE one--many of the words are on both lists, in a different order.

There are some great resources for the GRE. Princeton, Kaplan, a bunch of books.

They are very similar. Since the GRE is mostly analogies, they want to see if you can define/compare the big SAT words. If you know those SAT words you are well-preparing yourself.
