one of my really good friends is leaving for college in a few months. I am only a freshmen. I am really sad and I don't know what I am going to do when she leaves. I really look up to her and can't imagine life without her. Not to sound weird or anything but she is my role model!!!!!!!! Do you have any advice?

just be sure to email and talk on the phone often! she is going to be busy adjusting to her new life at college. if it's not far, maybe visit her every once in a while. send her care packages too just to remind her that you are still thinking of her despite her physical absence in your life back home!

If it is not too far away then she will be back every weekend. You guys will still be able to talk on the phone and internet, and if you get lucky and have a few days out of school then you may get to go down there and see how the college life is. But don't worry. If she is a senior in high school she still has till the fall until she starts school.

You got to get a sense of independence.If you care about your friend know that going to college is her choice to better herself.Just be/c she is away doesn't mean you can't stay in touch and visit during school break.Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Maybe you will get to that same college.I don't think you want to be up her a**,there is a difference.

TRY TO KEEP BUSY AND TIME WILL PASS FAST, UNTIL SHE COME BACK FOR WEEK-ENDS, HOLIDAYS AND OTHER TIMES. STAY IN TOUCH BY E-MAIL. IT WILL BE HARD FOR THE FIRST SEVERAL DAYS.

hold your chin up and get through it. thats life. people leave you and you have to learn how to cope on your own. besides its not like you'll never see her again.
