Offer the other side first, every time for a couple feedings at least. Maybe it's in the way that you are holding him/her when you are using that side - try different positions. Or maybe he/she is having trouble getting anything out of that side.... If it really feels full, you could pump and use it in a bottle, or express some in the shower to relieve the discomfort. that's what i would do (and have)!!

It is preference. Perhaps the milk comes out easier from that side. Offer your other one first. You can express some first if your baby does not appreciate the flow being slow! If your baby keeps this up and refuses one side, then pump it and freeze it. I used to love those little Gerber bags that sealed shut like a Ziploc bag. You could also try letting her start on her favorite side, then once you let down, stick her on the other side and see if baby takes to it better.

When my son was born I tried breast-feeding and I would get really discouraged because he would only feed on one side. Well, come to find out he has a condition called Torticollis and his shortened neck muscles would not allow him to turn his head to feed properly on the other side. If your baby has a tendency to keep his/her neck crooked or leaning to one side more than the other, I would have you Ped. check it out. It might not be anything but it could be, especially if you are a smaller framed lady. I know the sooner you get diagnosed then the sooner Therapy begins and the better off you and your baby will be. The web has plenty of info on Torticollis, I would recommend checking it out.

You need to get him eating from both sides....if its possible try expressing some milk out by hand to alleviate the full feeling....and try him in lots of different positions.....cross cradle hold is a good one for this....OK, for example purposes lets say the left breast is the one he doesnt like....place him along your RIGHT arm....head in hand...or support the back of his head with your hand...his body lays along your forearm...with legs on either side of your elbow....babies weight is on this arm.....with left hand postion left breast....with RIGHT hand bring baby up to breast....if you want a pillow across your lap that might be good too.....just be persistant and he will get it....you may have to try several times! Good Luck
