I was driving down the street in Henderson, NV after being in the casino for a couple of hours. I suddenly heard a huge bang and felt liquid on my leg. I was sure I was shot but didn't see anyone in the other cars panicking and my windows weren't shatter.
A soda can burst in my car from the heat.
Stay out of those bad neighborhoods or other people's spouse's bed.

Many years ago I got into a situation. A man driving a van in a parking lot was trying to drive over this woman, his wife. I tried to help her and got her safely inside a store. The man pulled up by the door and kept calling her and even though I tried to make her stay she was so scared of him she went and got into the van. I was with her the whole way trying to talk her out of getting into the van. Her husband pulled out a gun and pointed it at me and said "Lady this is your lucky day." I just stood there as he kept pointing the gun at me. When his wife finally got into the van he pulled away with her. Scared the crap out of me but I'd still help someone in need again.

When I was a sophomore at UCLA in 2000 I was on the football team and we were walking around off campus and some USC fans tried to do a drive by on us. It was one of the scariest moments of my life.

let me make you smile...
A blind guy on a bar stool shouts to the bartender, "Wanna hear a blonde joke?"
In a hushed voice, the guy next to him says, "Before you tell that joke, you should know something."
Our bartender IS blonde, the bouncer is blonde. I'm a 6' tall, 200 lb black belt. The guy sitting next to me is 6'2", weighs 225, and he's a rugby player. The fella to your right is 6'5" pushing 300 and he's a wrestler. Each one of US is blonde. Think about it, Mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?"
The blind guy says, "Nah, not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times."

I had bullets fly over where I was, but never like inches away from me. It definitely gives you religion.
We were on a shots fired call and the people were happily blasting away, didn't know we were there. Once my partner and I got close, we began screaming POLICE, DROP YOUR WEAPONS!
I have to admit it got my adrenaline going, no doubt about it.
But, like I said they were shooting over us, and didn't know we were there.
I pointed my gun at literally dozens of people in my 21 year career, but you know it's kind of different when the lead is flying.
I guess it isn't macho to admit it, but I was scared. I read somewhere that real bravery isn't a lack of fear, it's being afraid and doing your job anyway.
Kind of like our brave men and women in the military, my hat is off the them, God bless them!
