I definately feel like this! I'm 29wks pregnant and while i haven't gained that much weight my stomach is huge - up and out and can't be missed! lol. I feel so... blah! My fiance tells me everyday how beautiful i am but all i hear is blah blah blah! lol.
Try to pamper yourself a bit by doing what makes you feel good, hair, makeup, nails, facial etc etc. It really does wonders for you!
It is a short-lived sacrifice for our baby though - thats what i keep telling myself. OK i feel horrible most of the time and i feel fat and miss my clothes and heels and stuff (lol) but its worth it in the long run.
I love my baby but will be happy when baby is in my arms and i have my body back!!
Good luck and try not to let it get you down too much - its for a great reason that our body is changing!
Don't forget to pamper yourself either! A happy positive mommy sends happy positive vibes to baby!

I'm really sorry you had this experience. Honestly, it's just like junior high. Some girls never change. The reasons never change either: they are jelous, it makes them feel better to bring others down, & misery loves company! These women will do this to everyone they come across! Whether it's comments on the decisions others make while pregnant or the way others care for their kids, or whatever else is different from themselves. It's really not about you at all. It's their issue of insecurity. If they were secure in their appearance and the decisions they make, AND IF THEY WERE HAPPY PEOPLE, then they would not think of being negative towards others for one moment. Who really has time for that? Don't we all have enough real things to worry about right now? Don't waste your time feeling hurt. Just feel sorry for them. Congrats on your baby. Enjoy your belly while you have it, mama. If you got, it flaunt it!!! ;) (And ps- who calls their baby "it" and only bathes "it" once a week? What a bizarre person!)

what you are feeling is very normal, what you need to do is pamper yourself, whatever makes you happy. Like a pedicure or whatever. Don't worry about the weight, dont get too carried away with eating but eat what you need to eat. I gained 46 pounds with my pregnancy. After i had my daughter just two weeks later I had already lost 30 pounds of it. It wasnt much longer that i lost the rest and trust me when i say there will be a point where you will wish you get to sit down.....lol Your baby will help you loose weight! So dont get discouraged, because like you i didnt gain weight the first five or six months , but I did the last few months. YOU WILL LOOSE THE WEIGHT, besides I am sure your husband is right and you really do look beautiful. Take care of yourself.

You can still work out when you're pregnant. I've gained 25 pounds so far and I'm also 23 weeks. Yes, I feel gross and fat.

Not the only one. Find a prenatal aerobics class. It will help you stay in shape during your pregnancy and help you get your pre-prego body back. Check with area rec centers and fitness centers. If all else fails, ask your OB/GYN. Good luck--

No, I did not fell gross and fat until after I gave birth. I am sorry to hear that you do. You possibly may not get your pre-baby body back. I know it would take surgery for me to look that way again.

I never felt this way. Actually, I felt great about myself during my pregnancy. I had confidence, and I felt sexy. But.. I have heard plenty of other women say something similae to what you did. I have no advice, though. Sorry.
