i think most mom opt for an epidural. u wont feel the pain, but if u do, its not that bad. I had a c-sect due to breech and i was on epidural, the pain only comes 10hrs later but its manageable. dont worry too much and enjoy ur pregnancy and being pampered.

People can tell you a lot of different stories but your story will be unique and unforgettable. It might be easy, it might be very hard but it's something you will remember for the rest of your life. It is an amazing happening even if it's extremely painful. I was terribly afraid before giving birth the first time and it was as bad as it can be (I was induced and I never got pain meds as there was no time). But it was still an amazing and most powerful experience you can imagine. It was terrible but I am pregnant again even though I said I would never give birth ever again. 3 months after saying this we were pregnant again and I am very happy and excited about it. I am still afraid of the labor but I know it's gonna be over and it will be SO worth it. You don't yet know how much it's worth it but you will soon. It will be wonderful trust me. Physically it might be the hardest thing you've ever done and the most painful experience of your life but you're strong - you were designed to do this, and your body will know what to do. You will do just wonderful!
Good luck!

I am the mother of 2 beutiful boys! Each experience was different. It was scary at first with both because I did not know what to expect. It hurts a lot in the beginning. GET THE EPIDURAL!!! It will be your best friend during labor. In the end, it will be the best thing to ever happen to you!!

Everyone's experience is different. You don't want to hear too many stories, or you will be scared before you start. Have you taken Lamaze classes? You can ask your doctor or nurse these questions as well. It is the greatest thing a woman can do and worth everything you go through. Good luck to you.

First of all, the experience is different for eveyone. But the best advise I ever got was this, Relax and let things happen as they happen. Don't fight the contractions, work with them. This worked with my first and I forgot it with the other 2. The labours were harder with the last two, because I wasn't relaxed enough. Good luck!

*chuckel* oh boy oh boy! you sure you want an answer?? :) it is very painful, scary, very hard work. but the rewards FAR outweigh the process! i'm not gonna lie to you! i get SOOO excited to have the baby till i'm in transition, then i change my mind. just take comfort in the fact that MANY MANY women have done it and will continue to do so and there are many wonderful people that can help you through the process. go do some reading and find out what type of birth YOU want, but above all RELAX! it makes things go SOOO much easier.

Everyones experience is different. Just take lots of classes and be prepared. Lamaze is really helpful, it will allow you to make it far enough into the labor process until you are able to get an epidural. I wish you lots of luck, and god bless you and your little one.

how are you able to be so short sighted...i'm no longer attempting to be impolite, i myself sense for you. yet this guy has bodily hit you, that is very almost the worst element a guy can do, is obviously talking to or seeing yet another woman (maximum cancers or no-which btw is a terrible excuse to make as much as see somebody) and hasn't even been often employed. The question isn't "how do I make it greater effectual," yet greater like "why do I enable him to do this to me." Have some self comprehend and comprehend that he additionally will do this on your toddler. you're able to desire to guard your baby. do no longer enable this guy decrease back into your existence. Please.
