This season they are being a little mean. Ok, not a little, but very. It was wrong to make fun of they guy that had the big eyes. And call people giraffes and comment on peoples appearances like they have. People cant control what they look like. This is a singing show, not a beauty pageant. I am not usually like this, but I think Idol has gone too far this season.

I usually enjoy Idol after the only ones left are the good singers !
The try-outs for me are really bad, the singers are bad ,except a few.and the judges can't help but laugh,say no , or even sometimes have to be rude to the contestants just to get them off the stage...so all that just gets on my nerves,but when they get down to the finals where the have background music,etc,instead of acapella, then I enjoy it !!!

i think American idol is basically a gimmick now i mean even Simon didn't want to do the show anymore there letting anyone go to Hollywood all for ratings, i admit i what when nothing else is on

I like the show but it seems like more and more people are just going for there 15 minutes of fame, when they know they have no singing talent whatsoever. You can see the difference between the contestants that are acting and the ones that are really surprised to hear they can't sing.

I love the show.. The best part of the show is the road to Hollywood. It is a trip to see all the people that think they can actually sing.

i think that it is really good show. It has very good marketing techniques and it keep the viewers coming back for more. Also, near the ending of the season they really do find some very good talents. BTW chris daughtry should have won last season. I love him. lol

I absolutely LOVE it. It's one of the only shows I watch on TV. I think Simon, Randy and Paula are great. I hope it never goes off the air.
