I heard online that some people make a living on Second Life. How does that work? Is it true? Also can you give me some tips on Second Life?

Some people do make money there and some companies have started setting up shop. Since you exchange units of currency on SL (I forget what they are called), and some people are willing to pay cash for stuff that you create or acquire on SL, a healthy market has erupted for buying and selling SL stuff. In fact, there is a "going rate" for exchange between the SL currency and USD. There was a full article in Wired magazine a month or two ago - check www.wired.com for back issues or maybe the article is available online. Tutorials are also available on SL, and it will give you the skinny on making money (they pay you to join and pay you more if you are a paying member) and exchanging stuff for money.

Yep, it's true. I have a friend that is a virtual real estate broker there. he and all of his associates are very skilled in 3d spacial design and animation. I am not aware that anyone without significant virtual design skills make a real income.

The money is made by earning Lindon dollars through sales or services then the Lindon dollars are sold on the virtual exchange for real dollars.

I have made a little but it is more work than I care to invest in that site.

No.. people don't make a living of that game. Instead, they are able to take on a role they wouldn't/couldn't take on in real life. They exchange real money for, i believe it's called lindon(?) money. So you can make lindon money and then have it exchanged back into real money. The thing is.. you'd have to spend ALOT of money to get lindon money in order to get back money. CNN did a story about the first person to make a million dollars in real money off the game.. but the catch is that the person would have had to already been a millionaire in order to actually be able to make a million in the first place. So don't do the game for money.. just have fun role-playing.

lol seriously why worry about your second life when your still spending your first life. When you pass on to your second life your sould can be reincarnated into anything bugs or animals plus you wouldn;t remember anything even though rarely some people do. But u probably won't :D so no point in preparing. Just live a good life.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. If you rephrased I could probably help.
