I think the most important thing for West Ham is to keep their defense tight and prevent the opponents from scoring. I would like to see opponents starved of scoring goals. West Ham has been leaking goals and this is more worrying that scoring. West Ham has many strikers in their club, and they are starting to score goals against opponents is a plus. However, to win games, and especially in a relegation fight, they must be tight in their defenses. And if they can earn a draw rather than a lost, it will also mean a point earned. The most important thing is to frustrate the opponents, and wear them down, and strike them when they are tired. Of course, players like Tevez, Kepa and Ashton will help in the relegation fight, but if the opponents are also having good defenses, they can also prevent West Ham from scoring. I think the club is correct to buy more defensive players in Luca Neil, Davenport and Upson, as they will help to tighten the defense. And most importantly, they have to keep all the players back from injury, and that will help to keep West Ham up.
