Can you help me find what is half of 4 and 1 and a half yds?
Thanks so much. I am trying to find the area of a triangle which is 3yd and i have to find half of the base and then multiply the numbers! Well thanks so much!

Convert the yards into inches first.

4 and 1/2 yards..or 4.5 yards. think of it as 45 yards. what is half of 45? 22.5. so half of 4.5 would become 2.25 yards.

half of 1 is .50
half of 4 is 2
half of yard is 18inches(i think)
