i have a hp media center with composite video inputs. how do i connect my gaming system, like my playstation 2 and xbox to my pc. i have tried connecting the cables to the computer but i doesn't work.

you wont be able to connect an xbox or PS2, and Gamecube doesn't even have an Ethernet port. However a 360 surly can, and I guess a PS3 is capable(but not the wii)

I prefer console gaming. The reason is because to keep up with the recommended requirements to play a PC game means that from time to time you have to upgrade. This can get expensive. Also with the PC you will run into random problems like failed installs, corrupt drivers, incompatibilities... etc. With a console you just buy the game and play all you like. I do have to say that I prefer a mouse & keyboard to a controller though.
