Wha? They lived in the Mediterranean.

Do you mean when the Achaeans moved into the area? Because that was after the Myceneans (like, the Minotaur culture, with the labyrinths and stuff.)

But exploration--they always sailed around a little. Not far--they didn't like long-distance voyages and usually didn't go far from the shore. I'd say, look up when the Achaeans moved down from the north (and I'd say, but I don't remember.)
