Why can't they just take a test already? It's not that hard or expensive. I think they're free at Planned Parenthood. I'm so sick of it. Nobody on here cares if you're pregnant or not.

Like everyone said...they are probably scared and have no where to turn. They probably don't even drive yet, it isn't like they can just go ask mom to drive them to planned parenthood. Mom would be flipping out on them. They probably don't even get an allowence from their parents and can't get to a store to buy a test in the first place. So, they come here. They can be so late and ask about symptoms and get a pretty straight answer. If you don't like it stop reading.

Because a stupid test can't give you advice and tell you "no, your not pregnant, what you are feeling is normal" a test is not going to tell you that you are fine, it is not going to tell you to see a doctor, it's not going to tell you how to break the news to your parents/boyfriends, it is not going to say "I care". There are some of us out there who wants to reach a kid in trouble and let them know they are not alone. Plus, there is no such thing as a stupid question. If we were all smart like you, we would not need Yahoo answer. Next time you see "I'm I pregnant", just skip over it. Even a dummy can do that.

Well, if you're sick of it, then don't come to the pregnancy section! And that's not true that "nobody cares if you're pregnant or not." I care! Even if i don't know who the girl is i still care. Girls can ask what they want! Don't come here if u dont like it

Oh, come on, they're not stupid. I think they're probably just lonesome and anxious, and they need to hear a reassuring word from others who've been through it before.

Because they are scared. A better question would be, "Why are there so many avocates of abstinence only training when all it does is promote ignorance?" I feel bad for these women asking like that. I feel even worse for you though. You must be a miserable person to be so bitter and rude. Even if you are not that intelligent, not everything you know is common knowledge and not everyone has the support that you may have had when you got yourself pregnant.

Because its a pregnancy website and some of these girls have never been pregnant before and want to ask someone who has been pregnant before and can give them advise and tell you what you need to know about it. Like what the symtoms are ect.. When your scared, you need someone to talk too. If you dont like it than dont come on this website. But they are not stupid!

They ask because they are hoping that they're NOT pregnant, or are afraid that the totally inconclusive symptoms they are having means they are pregnant. They don't understand that, nauseau, headaches, fatigue, cramps, even skipping a period can be symptoms of SEVERAL different types of illinesses, including STDS, stomach virus, food poisioning, kindey/bladder infection. They think the symptoms they have can only be ONE thing and they are too undereducationed and unintelligent to think about seeing a doctor.

I don't know. When was your LMP? What is your cycle length? About when did you have sex? Is your period late yet? Have you taken a test? If you have a 28 day period, had sex 5 days before or after your 14th day and are late for your period, take a test, that'll tell you if your pregnant or not :)

they're not stupid, they need guidance or maybe they're nervous and confused. it can be frustrating if you are reading it and know the answer, but when you think maybe they have no one to turn to or just need to talk to some ppl to reassure them then you will understand. sometimes being nervous makes a person do things which others may interpret as stupid but isn't.
