Of course there should be despite the rantings of some who degnigrate the fact that men have to deal with problems unfaced by women just as women have specific problems due to their differences.
Testicular cancer, prostate problems, ED, higher rates of heart attacks, earlier death and many more health and societial problems.
Men have as many reasons to explore and understand themselves, their problems and society in general as it relates to men as women do. Sadly, there are women (and a few misguided and immature men) who feel that only women are of any importance.
The reason: women have gained superiority in almost every area, except responsibility. "Women's studies" without a similar "men's studies" is just a visible symptom of the disease of sexism. It is rampant and not just on Y! Answers but in the world in which we live.
Compare the number of state-funded male only schools there are with the number of similar female schools; compare the number of states that have "women's" agencies such as "women business owners", State funded affirmative action geared toward benefitting women such as my state's, (Oklahoma) "Certified Women-owned business" that gets to priority in bidding contracts with the state and other benefits. There is no certification for "men-owned business". Something similar can be found on most states websites.
Then there is the obvious courtroom bias against men in "family law" and child support and custody cases nationwide, including paternity fraud, domestic violence, sexual harassment, affirmative action in employment, etc.
While there are dozens of programs at the university level researching women’s issues across the entire spectrum of health, education, world gender liberation, women and the law, women in business, there is no similar interest in men.
As a nation (United States), we have come to expect, even demand, sexism aimed at helping women while ignoring men.

There isn't a Men's Studies category because men are so remarkably simple. Men live their daily lives according to ego and sex. There's not much else to men. I have confirmed this with many honest men. I've never known any man to deny this. I think that many men wish that women knew how easy it could be. Men are often afraid to admit how fragile there ego is because women read into things way to much. Man's only desire is to have their ladies nourish that ego with respect and love. I love men because of their simplicity. My only intention is to share this incite that I have gained for the benefit of all. I hope I haven't offended anyone.
Good Luck

I think this board should be renamed "Gender Studies" so we can avoid this argument. But what injustices have men, as a group, had to overcome that would merit an entire field of study?
