That's a hard one. Considering the price of milk was 56 cents a qt. in 1800 and it is now an average of $ 3.29 the clock (based on the prices today) a grandfather clock would cost an average of $1000.00 to day so in 1800 it probably was about $ 180.00.
Using an increase of 85% for both items.
