I think the song is from the late 70's, has a heavy, slow base line and ends with the refrain: "Come on, come on, come on, come on ba-by; come on, come on, come on, come on up"? I've heard it several times on oldies station but always get just the ending and not the name. It's been bugging me for years. Thanks!

There are a lot of sings with similar lyrics. Do you remember any other parts of the song? Anyways, I think it might be "Strangehold" by Ted Nugent
