How long do you think you should lay in sunlight to get a reasonable amount of tan on your front AND back? And long should you lie in the sun JUST for the front and JUST for the back?

Like how long for the front
then how long for the back?

Self-tanning lotion. That is the only way you won't get age spots later.

1. Go to a chemist.
2. Buy a squeesy bottle of rub on tan
3. Rub all over
4. Wait ten minutes
5. Look in the mirror and realise what a **** you've been while attempting to look cool with a **** tan. Why do you want to get tanned?
6. realise it's not so bad as you've saved your self the money of buying a tanning machine.
7. Still take solice in the facty that you look a ****. Oh, and hope it doesn't rain!!

Don't take those "tan pills"--you'll look like a carrot and you might get liver damage.

Tan in a bottle--creams, sprays, foams...start with a "light" formula if you're not pretty good at applying them. You'll get a little darker, but if you mess up, it won't be as obvious.

Make sure you wash your hands after you apply, and don't put much on your knees, elbows, or knuckles--the skin there is thicker and it gets dark and weird-looking.

Exfoliate well if the effect is unpleasant.

You might want to check Glamour or Allure or Cosmopolitan's websites (magazines) for info on the kinds of self-tanners they like best and application techniques. Search their sites for articles or surveys about favorite brands.

Ive tried many tanning products. I find fake tan is the best...ive tried a lot, cheap ones costly ones etc...

The very best one I have found is called fake bake. I found it better than st tropez which I used before I discovered fake bake! It applies easily and gives a natural coloured tan. Does streak if applied properly - practise makes perfect with these things! It lasts well too just re apply every week to keep your skin looking tanned!

Use Jergens Natural Glow everydya for about a year. My friend's older sister did that and she has a pretty natural looking sunkissed tan.

Are you a guy?
So...why do you want to fake tan? I find that a bit feminine.
But anyway, if you must.. go to a department store & find the Clarins counter. They have good selftanners.
