We're in the age of the metro-sexual man. If there is a stone-cold log-faced manly man out there, he won't have much competition.
Eastwood was very good, but he did have that smirk and those angel eyes. Lee Van Cleef had no problem holding his own.
But the real king is Jack Webb of many movies and Dragnet Fame.
