Just realize that there is no discipline in your thoughts. Having negative thoughts and dwelling on them is the problem. When you have a negative thought, take charge, choose to think more positively, choose to not dwell on the negative thought. You can't prevent bad thoughts from entering your mind but you can choose to focus on only pleasant thoughts. No need to feel embarassed or humiliated. Don't give your thoughts that much importance or control over who you are. They are only thoughts and sometimes you have to go through the bad in order to recognize the good!

Laugh at each negative thought ..... really laugh and see it for what it is ... a silly mistaken way of thinking ..... by teaching yourself in this way, negative thinking will be corrected and you will be able to deal with things so much easier in the future. Just talk to yourself each time ..... kick embarrassing things into touch and slowly but surely, the butterfly of feeling good will emerge. Not today, not tomorrow ..... but soon ...

Try this - it works for me.

it's the principle of Opposites - if a negative thought comes to your mind, you can simply beat it by negating "positive thougts" e.g. if I am addicted to pornography and I want to reduce this habit, all I would do is "tell my mind" Life without Pornography is meaningless and not good. The brain automatically triggers an Opposite reaction, and prevents me from dabbling in pornography and instead to something creative. But, I always keep telling myself - I can't "live without pornography"

Accept the negative thinking as part of the whole. How will you know the positive if you don't know the negative. Before you know the truth you have to know the lie. Deny one and you deny the other. In so doing you deny the whole of your being. Just be
