Since many pilots start our as flight engineers, physics, chemistry, biology, calculus, and any other math and science courses you can take are good. Take advanced-level classes if they’re offered. Being a good communicator will really help with the job, so English courses, and possibly foreign language courses, will make you more appealing long-term for job prospects. Essentially, you should take some hardcore high school courses.

A lot of people join the air force to become pilots. What is better than hands on in a jet?

Out of all the courses in high school, focus on English (especially the English language, correct grammer, syntax, and spelling, learn how to read and write properly) as well as all the Math that you can take. Physics and Chemistry won't hurt either.

Physics would be good in highschool and college.

Engineering isnt necessary to be a pilot, but it would make a good backup and it is interesting.

You might want to join your school's ROTC program if they have it.
