Doctor gave her zantac thinking she had silent reflux, but she still isn't drinking that much. I started her on cereal twice a day. I wonder if she is getting enough formula?

OK first off NEVER GIVE A CHILD HONEY...they can get botulism.

Your child may have begun teething...my son is jsut about 4 months and he has all the symptoms.

1) Drooling
2) Biting at things
3) Lack of interest in food
4) Fever
5) Fussyness

Does she take a few gulps like she's hungry and then turn away like she's lost interest?
If so, the suction caused inside her mouth by sucking on the nipple causes pain in the already sore gums.
Biting things provides counter pressure and helps relieve pain.

I wouldn't give her the zantac if her behavior hasn't changed. No need medicating for no reason...

You can also give her some homeopathic teething tablets (or some baby tylenol) and just see if she's interested in eating after the pain meds kick in.

Then at least you'll know. And take the appropriate measures from there.

attempt magnificent available again the subsequent time you drop her off and see if she will be ready to take the bottle from you on the time she regularly takes it from the sitter. If she refuses it from you, yet takes it from the sitter, then its because shes grow to understand the sitter. maximum probably, regardless of the indisputable fact that, that is a timing difficulty and she or he purely isn't hungry till the time the sitter feeds her. little ones will devour at the same time as they're hungry... you may not rigidity them. in addition they prefer schedules and it appears like your toddler likes her structure. solid success. :)

It could be the beginning of an ear infection. Swallowing puts pressure on the ears. My kids would get really fussy when eating when they were coming down with an ear infection or cold. Good luck!!

The medicine might be making her not very hungry and if she ant drinking that much she could get dehydrated i would call the pediatrician in the morning if it ain't any better. Best of Luck !

She is probably teething. My children got real fussy when they were teething and didn't want a bottle.
