OMG! That movie is weird but good.
I think that that girl is not so pretty w/o make-up and pretty with make-up. You?
I feel kinda bad for her when she's in the shower. and she starts her period. All the girls laugh at her.
That's so mean. Why were they laughing at her anyways? i mean it's not like they don't have one.

They were laughing at her because he mother was a religious zeleot who had never told her about her period so when it started she had no idea what was happening and she was very unpopular so the other girls were being mean to her like they always were.

I don't know if you caught this, but when the mother had the sex the first time, she started her period, so she thought that was the only way you started your period. So she assumed that Carried had sex.

Yes, I have seen the movie several times..kinda weird and scary to me.
She was very pretty with make up...im sure she was pretty without make up also, but they made her look worse for the filming im sure.
The movie was all about being mean to her, and making fun of her, that is why they were laughing at her when she started her period in the shower...every girl does have a period, but it would be seldom, that you would happen to start in the shower, in front of people..That was just part of the movie, to make a point..ya know what I mean?
It was very sad, and mean...made me feel sorry for her...

That's a good movie, I've seen it alot. The girls are laughing at her, because they don't understand that she was brought up in such a strange household that she doesn't know that she's SUPPOSED to bleed there. So, while she's busy being traumatized by the fact that she's gushing blood out of her body, they make fun of what seems to be a psychotic freak-out. Unfortunately, a lot of people lack the emotional maturity to understand what others are going through.

Yea, I saw it. It was pretty good. They actually made a sequel to it in the late 90s I think. It was called The Rage: Carrie 2. That one was pretty crazy as well.

Do you mean the first one? Did you notice all the young actors who are giant stars now? Carrie is one of Stephen Kings better stories turned into a movie. It is a creepy movie, it's one of my favorites. Payback really was a b**** for Carrie!

They laughed at her because she started her period and didn't know what that was and she freaked out in the shower. She thought she was dying.

Stephen King is a Freakin genius isn't he? That movie is in my top 10 definatly. The mother is damn creepy too with the super-religious psycho thing.

Yeah I saw it last night it was like really weird. SERIOUSLY, but that was kind of nasty when she starts her period. Those other girls were mean when they started laughing though!
