I got a candle once that played happy birthday in a little musical wordless kind of way, he liked it. I can't sing either. Make a tape of your friend singing and play it while you mouth the words. LOL...just kidding. He won't care if you can't sing.

Get a group of people to sing her Happy Birthday then it doesn't matter if you can sing or not.

hire a person that you know that can sing if that if that does not work then buy her a cd that she loves or balloons that sing or a card take her out to lunch or breakfast and tell her i said "HAPPY B-DAY"have fun. many more to come.

then play something that truely have some meaning and don't forget to state that it's from you. i don't know what kind of girl she is, but i personally like when a man sing to me regardless if he can or not.

Write him a poem or a small text and read it.
It's so much better than a song in my opinion. You will be able to express what you feel for him and he will understand it a lot better than if it was drowned in music.
