You're full of it. Go to the US Treasury's website and track down the info like I did last year. See how much debt was added each year and add it up for the years any President served.

For Clinton, he ran up $1.590 Trillion ($1,590,000,000,000.00) the Treasury had to add to the national debt. Specifically, here is what he added each year:

2000: 148 Billion
1999: 13 Billion
1998: 110 Billion
1997: 172 Billion
1996: 335 Billion
1995: 189 Billion
1994: 264 Billion
1993: 359 Billion

So do the thinking yourself instead of buying the Kool-Aid other agendas are selling. Even if you share the agenda. At least that way you don't look so stupid...

They come from very different paradigms. Clinton ran on "it's the economy stupid." http://www.uuforum.org/deficit.htm
A quick click on this link shows how, and does not include Bush's latest plunge downward, the Republicans of Reagan, Bush Sr., and Dubbya have consistently driven us into more debt, while Clinton's record is the best of all time in going in the other direction. BushCo's team has no problem in helping themselves to the National Treasury for $8 billion per month for all their friends in the war business, as they consider that their right, and it is good for "business." After all, their motto has always been, "If God did not want them sheared, He would not have made them sheep." When we all end up finally working for the Chinese who hold so much of our debt, perhaps then some Americans will realize that this bunch in power are not the Patriots they claim to be, but actually mean us harm.

Because Clinton reaped the benefits of the tax cuts of Reagen and Bush #1. Also, Clinton had no major conflict during his presidency that chewed up the budget. Bush #2, on the other hand has had 2 major conflicts during his presidency. He has also had many national disasters like Katrina, 911 and the funding of the National Security Administration, and other natural disasters.

Because all Clinton did was tax, tax, tax.
What's the point if you aren't gonna spend it for the benefit of the country?
But i seriously doubt those facts are even correct. Since when has America had a surplus? Our country has ALWAYS been in debt. Go to the federal reserve and check how it works for yourself.
And we are in WAR right now! And when countries go into WAR, they also go into DEBT.

yes, that is a fact.

Because Clinton was too much of a pussy to take offensive against the terrorists and Saddam. During his presidency, the evidence we had was deemed credible that he was in possession of WMD's. This link is from 1998. saddam had three or 4 years to hide these weapons or ship them to a different country, Don't you think if Clinton would have taken action, we would have found these weapons that US intelligence claimed he possesed? read the link. It's not some bogus right wing or left wing site.
