It is simple.

Get into any University and major in either a biological science or in english with a minor in biology (medical schools love english majors). Try to graduate with above a 3.5 but at the lowest a 3.0 (in college). Try to do some research and internships while in your third and fourth year of college. Take the MCAT and then apply to your med school of choice.

okay well first research colleges and their best programs...im actually the same (sophmore looking to be in medicine), but iv done my research. One great college is University of Michigan. Research different doctor types, and see wat interests you. Your first step will be to survive a four year premed...then comes medical school, and PhD's and all that.....some schools have a better premed, than med school. Reserach to see how many graduators of that college actually got their desired job.

hope i helped

First, find ones that offer 6 year med programs. Basically, a program that guarantees you a spot in their med school.

If you don't qualify, then just get into the best school you can. Look up some medical school websites and see what courses they require. Make sure the college offers those courses.

There's no such thing as a "pre-med" college. There's no such thing as a pre-med major, altho they will sometimes have a pre-med program.

Figure out where you want to go to med school. That is where you should do pre-med because a college is a little more accepting of people who did their full 4 years of pre-med there. I was told this when talking to the registration board at the University of Oklahoma. Make sure you're grades are as good as they can get, competition is crazy for med school. But if you stick it out for all of your pre-med and have great grades, and maybe some volunteer experience, you'll be a shoe-in. Good luck!

many times a pre-med curriculum in college, then directly to med college. then you quite could do a residency for a undeniable style of years (in many cases 4) at a coaching wellness center, then you quite're a doctor that could practice. you're able to be a "standard practitioner" without the residency, yet you probable won't get a license to coach. And technically, in case you may bypass the boards you may bypass scientific college, yet i do no longer understand that anybody genuinely can pull that off, except they grew up in a wellness center with mum and dad who taught them.

Unless you have a 4.0 GPA, you ought to start thinking about a career in drafting or becoming an airplane mechanic.
