Equal Rights for Sasquatch?

Question

when sasquatch (sasqui?) inevitably come lurking out from the shadows to join our society (i'd say by 2009, for sure), should we be giving them equal status/full suffrage?
serious answers only, please. and if you don't believe in sasquatch, then if only for the sake of this question please suspend disbelief. thank you.

And their own federal holiday. It could be called 'Residents Day'.
And special Sasquatch parking places.
Then there's always the newest thing in lingerie models.
And what will be the KKK's position?
And of course, the President will want a publicity shot.
And then his cousin, the Yeti, has to come out, and it all starts over in China.

yuppers we are all equal - even old sasquatch on the kokanee beer commerical should be able to have a pretty lady in a silver lycra suit for a girlfriend and beers for life instead of being hunted by them lol

Yes we have to give them equal status but they will probably still file a lawsuit.

oh yeah the squtch are out there man and they will be discovered soon.
No we wont give them equal rights we will kill them and study their remains for "science" as pathetic as that sounds its closer to reality than I want it to be the other squatch that are caught or trapped will be shipped to the zoo for slack jawed city dwellers who are as dumb as the day is long to gawk at

I don't see why not,you see them all over the parks in Florida,should'nt be allowed on the rides though.
