i've been told this all my life and i was just wondering if it's true... any part of it? maybe in only extreme cases?.. like sitting on ice with a thong on? or is it just a myth... ?

Why are you sitting on ice in your "thong"?? OW That will give frostbite for sure. The temperature question usually related to the men's fertility with the scrotum being sensitive to decrease sperm motility, how fast they can swim etc. Temps don't usually bother the women's fertility.
