So far my best dive site has been Planacar Reef in Cozumel, the vis is amazing, usually in excess of 30 m(100 ft), you can dress light 3-2 shortie or less, and the colours and marine life is amazing. Also because the dives are drift dives you need very little exertion usually resulting in long dives and less air consumption. But Cozumel in general has always been great diving reasonably cheap.
Hope this helps.

Hello,

(ANS) My best dive experience was in the gulf of Eilat in Israel (also called the gulf of Acabar which is technical in Jordan). I dived off a place called Nuaba from water 3feet deep (shallow corals) into major coral reef, along a drop off into water thousands of feet deep. Saw several large blue sharks along the edge, very memorable experience, bit scary swimming in bottomless water though having never seen anything like that before as a total novice (scared the s** out of me TBH).
