Obviously, no specifics, please...I'm just trying to get an idea of how many people out there carry guns, and where in the country (or world) that this takes place.

In the U.S., judging by the murder rate, my guess would be mainly in cities where gun ownership is illegal, such as New York City and Washington, DC.

I don't know anybody that carries a gun, although most of the guys i know (myself included) own at least one. I plan to get a concealed weapons licence so i can carry a .45. As to where, the midwest.

I live in Florida, and at least half the people I know own guns, but don't often carry them. You need a special permit for that.

In Louisiana, you can carry a gun in your auto (and most of the folks I know, do). You can carry a concealed handgun with a permit. Technically, you can carry one out in open, but few people do.

Legaly when you take safety concel carry gun classes and then pass background thru FBI....
I know a few in OK, AK, TX.....

Everywhere a law is pass to allow Lawful Citizens to carry firearms, the crimes go down.
The majority of states now allow it.
Democrats & Criminals DO NOT want Law Abiding Citizens to be armed.
They just want the criminals to be armed.
Go figure.

I openly carry a hangun. I live in California (where it is not allowed) and Arizona (where it IS allowed). Violent crime is on the decrease in Arizona, and on the increase in California.

I know 45 people who carry handguns with them where ever they go and they live in the South. I also know 18 people who keep high-caliber assault rifles in their homes and they live in the South.
