If u got a positive on sunday and recently did an ultrasound u are way too earl;y to see anything on ultrasound...everything is just now coming together,u wont see anything until u are at least 5 weeks..If u didnt notice any bleeding or cramps and u have the positive then u should be fine...your levels will be very low at the beginning until they start doubling every 3 days...I went to the er with my last pregnancy because of spotting,my levels were very low and i was only 5 weeks, they couldnt only see the sac,not even a baby yet,my baby is now 1 1/2 it was just too early to tell.good luck and dont get yourself worked up over it...if anything make an appt with another doctor for a couple more weeks and then heck your levels, chances are they have gone up..good luck!!

it could be a chemical pregnancy...this means there may nave been a conception take palce but it was unsuccessful. hcg may have been detected as it would have been present but not enough to maintain the pregnancy. Talk to your GP/doc. An ultrasound wil not show a fetal pole until 6-7 weeks and until this is visible, you may not have a viable pregnancy. I know we saw the amniotic sack and the yolk sac at 5.5-6weeks than had a fetal pole/heartbeat at 7.5 weeks clearly on ultrasound.

If you feel any abdomen pain at all soon, get to emergency room. These symptoms can be from an ectopic pregnancy, ya know where the baby settles in a fallopian tube instead of the uterus. That can kill you. If it is a regular pregnancy, which I agree it can be, early on it is hard to find baby, so relax if you can, and I think you just gotta wait n see. Blessings.

I have known a couple of people that have tested positive but had no sign of anything growing in the womb. It was a false positive thing. I don't know too much about it but when it happened to an aunt of mine her belly actually got big but there was nothing growing inside of her. It was strange... her body tricked itself into thinking it was carrying a baby. Good luck. I wish you the best!

Sometimes, if it's too early in the pregnancy, it's just too small to see.
It is possible that you have a blighted ovum, but you likely haven't miscarried yet - you would have had some bleeding.
I think it's justtoo early in your pregnancy for them to see anything. Wait a few weeks andsee what happens.
Good luck!

How late are you? Sometime you can miscarried without knowing if your not too far along, but I would think maybe you took the test too soon? I am not a Dr. but wait awhile, and take it again. Count how long its been since your last period. Good Luck!

When you ovulate your hormone level rises enough to give a false reading on an HCG. Your situation is often referred to as a chemical pregnancy. Look it up on google.com. You will understand it better by reading then I can type her.Good luck.

why would the doctor order an ultrasound? you don't usually get one til 15 weeks, you are not very far along that's all, i would consider a new OBGYN, either you have left something out or he doesn't have a clue

You could have conceived late in your cycle, and things are just not far enough along yet.
