ok so i found out i'm a regular mongo
i may knew a fair amount of stuff about skateboards but i'm not so good at it but better then my friends...

so this is what my fear is, i'm afraid of doing an ollie while moving, i feel ONCE i land it i'll put so much weight down that i'll make the board slide off my feet and i'll fall.

and how do you overcome the fear of doing a flatground ollie on pavement without slipping once falling?

and one more thing, how come my board just doesnt ride straight when i ride it, even the board is a little tilted to a side, how do i fix that, i think it's t he trucks so how do i fix it?

Your board is probably turning because the trucks are not evenly tight

make sure they are both even so one doesnt turn looser than the other.

for the ollieing problem, it sounds like you know how to do it while sitting still on pavement.

if not, just learn it in the grass, then on carpet, and then on the pavement.

if you already know how to do it on pavement, then all you need to do, is just push of going extremely slow, start at a very slow speed and then slowly work your way up to a faster speed, thats what i do when i want to learn a trick moving.

if you still cant seem to do it, then just suck it up, and go for it. Its alot easier than you'd think. alot of tricks can be learned alot easier if you just suck it up and go for it

GOOD LUCK!

heres how i learned..... now im assuming u no the pop slide and land motion 1. if you are skating woth a walmart board i hope god helps you learn the ollie because its nearly impossble for beginers to ollie on those things. 2. if your scared of the skateboard to suddenly slide underneath u and u fall and bust your *** take the skateboard and lie it down next to a curve where your wheels are touching the curve then do the ollie onto the curve that way you dont fall 3. if your holding on to anything while ollieing dont all it does is take a way you concentration on doing the trick while giveing u a false sense of safety 4. never do a ollie on grass its alot harder i no ppl say its easier but its not 5. last but not least try it while riding some ppl are differant and like to do it while riding btw while your riding try and do an ollie and if u pop with ur front nose i suggest learning how to ride switch

ollie-ing is easy, and once you get it good and high you can do anything. You have to keep your center of gravity in front of you when you do anything moving(lean forward not back.) As far as your board not going straight, you probably put too much weight on one side. My best advice is to keep yourself centered.
