Polls: a sampling or collection of opinions on a subject, taken from either a selected or a random group of persons, as for the purpose of analysis. (www.dictionary.com)

Basically a bunch of peoples opinions on a certain subject from a group af random people (explaining us). For the purpose of seperating it and finding answers. (basic description of the definition above)

Surveys: to view in detail, esp. to inspect, examine, or appraise formally or officially in order to ascertain condition, value, etc. (www.dictionary.com)

Basically it means to examine, forget all that other stuff up there.

Hope I helped! ;) Thanks for the message. ;)

Well a poll is a gathering of information about a certain subject. I have no idea what a serway is. Now a survey is used to gather information too.

Jackass, your general lack of spelling skills not withstanding - the word "surveys" is written directly above.
