i had missed this question on a test and i needed to do test corrections but i still don't under stand this question? is this a proportional problem?

A watch loses 3 minutes every 24 hours. How much time will it lose in 2 hours?
can ya'll also tell me how you got the answer to please

It will lose 0.25 minutes in 2 hrs

Lets see if i got this. The watch loses 3 minutes every 24 hours

or 1 minute every 8 hours

therefore the watch loses 30 seconds every 4 hours

or to answer your question, it loses 15 seconds every two hours.
