Nope, though the country stretches over a vast expanse of Asia, and share land borders with some Asian countries like China, N. Korea, and Mongolia.

Not really. Russians are an East Slavic ethnic group which in turn is a linguistic and ethnic branch of Indo-European peoples.

So Russians are considered Europeans, although the mentality of the Russians was probably heavily influenced by the neighbouring Asian nations.

In the former soviet Union only Kazakhs,Mongols and Kyrgyzez are considered Asian. The rest are of Europoid race, even though some nations, such as Tajiks, Turkmens and Uzbeks are located in Central Asia and their skin color is not as white as many Europeans (the skin color is more like tanned... like people from spain or Italy skin color).
