It was a book I read in high school. Fantasy category. It was about 2 kids that were searching for their dad. Somehow they wound up in this "underground world". Lots of lights and some magical stuff occurred. I believe it may even have had the word "underground" in the title. Can't remember the author. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds sort of like 'The Silver Chair' by C.S. Lewis. That would be the sixth book in the Chronicles of Narnia. It's about two children, a boy and a girl, and they have to travel to the Underground World in order to free an enchanted prince of Narnia. That's the most similar thing I can think of. Hope this helps!

It is definitely not Bridge to Terabithia. It might be The Silver Chair. It might also be A Wrinkle in Time by Ursula K. LeGuin. Meg, Calvin and their brother Charles Wallace search for their father in another universe via a tesseract.

It also sounds a bit like Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl books. When was high school for you?

Check with your local children's librarian, too.
