Someone owned this computer before me, and required a password, and I want it off. I know the password, I just tired of having to put it in. I am on Windwos ME. What do I do?

Change the password and don't enter anything in the box for new password.

your first problem is that you are using Windows ME..

however, to turn off the password, go to the control panel, then go to users, and select your userID. From there you should be able to turn off the password on your account.

A good program for doing this, as well as a lot of other "tweaks" is available from Microsoft. It's called "TweakUI" and it's available at the below link.
