No. It would probably cover them or at least lighten the dark places on the skin. Good luck!

I think it really depend on the make-up brand.
If I were you, I'd get liquid foundation (probably from covergirl, but, whatever) and blot, blot, dab, dab under the eyes(with a Q-Tip).
Slather some palmers or Burt's Bees evening primrose overnight cream there before bed (also:maybe on scars)
Vanishing cream applyed with a Q-Tip may work better than foundation/concealer/powder makeup because it's creamy-and I think maybe good for skin. Not sure about that part, though.
Put on a moisturizer BEFORE applying it. You MUST do this. It'll probably improve under-eye conditions, make the makeup/vanishing cream blend in better, and might just improve the way it goes.
And you know the basics:8 hrs of sleep, wash face, drink plenty of water(maybe a whole water bottle per day could be your goal), and blah, blah, blah. You may want/be able to have more or less than 8 hours of sleep, though. But whatever.
And ask someone about your circles before you leave. Inspect with a GOOD mirror that shows all of your flaws(like a car mirror, under the thing that blocks sun), and don't go overboard, thinking that no one but you has under-eye circles or is a bit insecure w/ their appearance.
If this doesn't work, be happy you're still alive/have all your body parts/are basically healthy and wealthy enough to be on yahoo.
Good luck!

TRY getting more sleep first! and some eye cream.
it looks worse if you dont blend it well. blend, blend, blend! use a good brand, not something cheap and cakey. it should be fluid in consistency but not too runny either. use the ring finger of your non-dominant hand (so like left hand if you are right handed) to smooth it under and decrease the lines. the ring finger puts the least pressure on your delicate skin tissue. hope this helps! drink plenty of water (8 glasses of 8 oz. water a day)

I get dark circles under my eyes too. Mine is due to allergies. Liquid Concealer with just a very light touch of loose face powder works well for me. It doesn't take much. So go sparingly with the make up.

If you have dark circles under your eyes, before you go to bed put some preperation H under your eyes. It might sting a bit, but it will help to get rid of the dark circles by morning, then you won't have to worry about putting makeup under your eyes. We rub out eyes so much that by the afternoon, your eyes may not match. Then you will have to keep putting on makup instead of preventing the dark circles. Hope this helps.

first of all, sleeping is the best way to get rid of the dark circles.
Secondly, what I do when I do have the is take liquid cover up (i have one that is in the shape a lip gloss thingy) and place a dab underneath your tear duct and spread it downward away from your eye and nose. Blend it a little bit and it takes away the harshness of the circles. It is best to use a cover up one skin tone lighter than your natural skin tone (but don't go to over board because otherwise it will be to obvious.

For some reason if I have dark circles under my eyes and I put on foundation, it makes the circles darker. Some people swear by hemorriod cream. But I have never tried that.

I actually have the same problem. I use a pretty heavy concealer stick ( any will do, like covergirl) BUT be careful on how you put it on. dont be too rough around your eyes, because it will look worse, and you will end up having wrinkles.

Use a concealer, if you have the right color and tone it will make them much less noticeable.
