People say stupid things sometimes out of habit sometimes just not thinking. We all have said things that have hurt others, called names etc out of anger or frustration or just the desire to hurt back. Its wrong, its stupid but its human. What bugs me is when a person of african heritage calls their friend the N word and thats okay but if a caucasion says it its foul? Double standards or what. Think of how nice the world would be if we all just made the effort not to hurt others?! Oh what a dream. As for Paris and all the celebraties making headlines for their "racial slurs" if we quit paying so much attention to them maybe they'd shut up.

She is just stupid which she says that she is but she isn't because she just doesn't like to be famous and famous people like George Clooney or Matt Dillon don't say those kind of things because they're smart...To tell you this Paris Hilton should be smarter than that. But I don't think she ever will become smart...Hope this will help you solve your question.

Paris Hilton is a pathetic excuse for a so-called socialite. She will do or say anything for attention.

Some people including blacks think it is hip to use that word. They think it is either cool or shocking. Who knows what goes on inside of that little head of hers.

I don't think she knows enough black people to 'act' black.
She doesn't have to act rich, she is.
The usage of the n-word isn't an indicator of prejudice, but it is evidence of gross stupidity, but as long as black people use it, its very difficult for young white people to suddenly understand that they can't because of their skin color.

Sadly, I think we would be surprised at how many people talk when they are in an environment where they feel they can be free and honest. These same people preface coments (in more mixed company) with "I'm not prejudiced, but....."

we don't really know the context in which she said it... it may have just been a joke, or since it was kind of like a song or a rap, someone else may have made it up and she was just stupid enough to repeat it. who knows?

because she wants to be accepted more by the audiences once she starts to define herself as a hip-hop child. because rap & r&b are dominating & gets lots of airplay as well as TVs but PH is just another fake b-i-t-c-h
