Given her consistent support for George W. Bush's war in Iraq (and on American civil liberties), I'd say her election would not be the progressive moment in American politics that her supporters think it is.

Senator Clinton could have been a great leader. But she chose to be a great follower, going whichever way the political wind was blowing.

Now she says "if we knew then, what we know now" about the situation in Iraq, she wouldn't have voted for it. That's 20/20 hindsight and political convenience at it's worst. There were billions of people around the world taking to the streets, arguing against the war before it even began.

Senator Clinton, the majority of the Democratic Party and of course, the Bush administration paid no heed to the voice of the people.

While she would arguably be better than John McCain or Mike Huckabee or (shudder) Duncan Hunter, I'm afraid American foreign policy under another Clinton administration would be just as bad as under any other administration.

properly in preserving with a pollof supporters for Hillary Clinton as democratic representative, I bear in ideas that she were given like fifth or something. She grow to be in the back of people no man or woman had heard of! What does she extremely have going for her? She should be the first female president, and diverse female activists will vote for her, only for that reason. She has the call of Clinton, yet that is a double-edged sword. Economics solid, moral personality undesirable. It purely relies upon on what factors count number better. How do i think issues ought to flow if she did grow to be president? i don't have severe hopes for a stunning good administration if that were to take position. it really is purely my personal opinion. i imagine she is purely potential-hungry, and at the same time as/if she receives the identify she'll enable it flow on to her head and do who's time-honored with of what. If we decide on a woman president why do not we get someone who's not purely attempting to get better notoriety and status?

No, in my opinion, it would not be cool.

It would be cool to have a female president - you shouldn't vote for her just because she's female and you want to make a statement. I'm afraid that is what people will do. Answers like Smiley's above only prove my point. Don't vote on gender, vote on issues!

Well, if the world's laughing at us now, wait to see what they'll do if we're dumb enough to elect the Carpetbagger President.
