What is the difference between teal and aqua?

aqua is a bit brighter, and tela has a more greenish tint to it

There is only a slight difference, however a lot of people mix these 2 colours up all the time.
Aqua - is a bright greeny blue, think the sea!
Teal - is slightly darker, but still as lovely, think peacocks!

Teal is darker, and aqua is lighter and brighter.

teal is like a more greeny tint and aqua is a bright bright blue.

OK I THINK I GOT THIS!!
aqua is a light blue with a little bit of green in it but not much. Also its really bright
teal is a dark blue and green mixture

teal is darker and has more green in it. aqua is brighter and more blue.

there is not much difference actually. im guessing that if there is a difference, aqua is slightly brighter. But i really dont think there is a difference.

teal is a lighter color and aqua is a little darker..
