a and d are true
b and c are false (In December the shortest day is in the northern hemisphere, longest in the southern; 22 September = autumnal equinox in northern hemisphere, spring equinox in southern)

edit to Smitty: d is true, do you understand what an equinox is? quote: "An equinox in astronomy is the event when the Sun can be observed to be directly above the equator. ... In a wider sense, the equinoxes are the two days each year when the center of the Sun spends an equal amount of time above and below the horizon at every location on Earth." I'm almost positive all of them are false, but I could be mistaken. The one I'm not sure about it the falling on same day as the southern hemisphere.
