See if you can learn some dance moves from someone! I swear to god it doesn't matter what you look like or what kind of brain you have if you can dance!! Perfect example, I was at a salsa social last week and my normal dance partner was in the bathroom so this very large, not very attractive guy asked me to dance. I love to dance so I figured what the hell, one dance. The guy was probably one of the best salseros I have ever danced with! I was actually kind of bummed when my dance partner got back!!:) Good luck!

Hi David!
Join your local amateur theatre co or join a book club and get to know the girls there slowly. Gradually work up the courage to ask one of them to dinner or a movie and then if you get on well, your dance !

Make some girlfriends. or Just go by yourself, it isn't that weird. When I when to prom, me and all of my friends kinda just hung out. I personally was friends with lots of girls and guys, but none of us were really pinned down to each other, so we took turns. Mostly though we just hung out wearing our wifebeaters.

become an experienced...confident...organized....relaxed...guy...good luck...just go forward and dont take no for an answer....some girl there will dance with you...she may be just as nervous as you are...go for the wallflowers...they are the best pick..in the long run
